MY HOOP STORY

i am the only girl of 4 children i am a mother of 2 girls Astin and Ashlyn and mother in law to one to Nester and a long term woman to prince ,also a grand mother to 3 beautiful grand children with Tatiyana the oldest followed my Christian and little Jayden , it 52 years of age ,i recently discovered i had a lot of time on my hands and was looking at some youtube videos and came across an amazing hooper as a child i have to play alone due to being the only girl with 3 brothers who were not into jumping rope or playing jacks or let alone a Hula Hoop so i had to find things that i could do by myself that didnt include the boys or anyone else , so i played with a hula hoop ,but in the youtube videos this was not your regular hula hoop this was a whole new explosion of a hoop revolution called Hoop Dance ,which i have never heard of and didnt even know had existed. and this was where my birth of becoming a hula Hooper began so i ordered my first hoop on line and began watching every hoop dance video i could soon i learned a few tricks and started posting my progress of my version of hoop dance on youtube , now a year and half later i got my hoop certification to be able to teach kids to hoop from HOOPING BY SARAH she is a amazing hooper and has helped me alot and have met some really good people through facebook hoop groups and youtube everyone is willing to teach you and help you in any way . hooping has helped me with depression , sadness , it has helped me to celebrate and has just be a way of self expression , as some hoopers say "when in doubt hoop it out " which means just pick up your hoop and hoop until you feel better , something magical happens while inside that plastic circle it clears my mind and for that moment the only thing i can think of is my hoop it has saved my life and i feel reborn . i often call myself the lonely hooper because there are not many hoopers in my south jersey area that dont require me drive time ,so i taught my grand daughter Tatiyana how to hoop she is my hula hoop partner and you can find us hooping all over town now ,so my goal is to bring hoopers to me i would love to have a hoop day in my town and maybe i should make this my new goal ,i also taught my grand daughter how to hoop since she was 3 years old and now she is 6 , so thank you for your time to read this post any question please contact me at katana229@gmail.com my youtube channel where hula hoop video are under katana229 you can click here twitter katana229 i currently using my hoop to maintain my weight loss and lets hoop it out! thank you YVONNE
